Calls for Artists, Crafters & Craftsmen
September 13, 2008, Pawhuska, OK …The Osage Nation is calling for artists, crafters and craftsmen of all tribes, nations, creeds and races to participate at the 2nd Annual Osage Nation Film Festival’s newest feature, The Art Market. The streets of Downtown Pawhuska will be transformed into a walking art market housing a variety of art and crafts of all mediums, Saturday, September 13th, 2008, from 1 to 10 p.m. Artists, crafters and craftsmen interested in participating must complete and return the registration form (www.osagetribe.com/tourism) plus a $20 fee to Osage Nation Tourism, 222 W. Main, Pawhuska, OK 74056, no later than September 5th. Each artist will receive a 10 x 10 booth space, and one 6 foot table with 2 chairs. Peg boards, stands, cases and other art displays must be provided by the artist. The Art Market is not a juried show however, it is requested that you provide pictures and samples of artwork that’s to be displayed and sold. Also new to the 2nd Annual Osage Nation Film Festival is the highly anticipated contest with screenings of new and original movies.
