Primary Residential Treatment
 
The Osage Nation Primary Residential Treatment Center is a drug and alcohol inpatient treatment program. PRT is a 45 day program for men and women suffering from substance abuse.
 
 The Osage Tribe has contracted with the Indian Health Service (IHS) of their proportionate share of non-indigenous users within the Pawnee Service Unit for substance abuse funds. The Osage Tribe of Oklahoma provides a Native-influenced residential Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program. This Program consists of a structured schedule for up to a 45 day period.
 
PRT provides an individualized treatment service and is flexible to meet the unique needs of each client. Included at PRT are the following:
 
Alcohol and Drug Education
Cultural Principles
Individual & Group Therapy
Recreational Therapy
Life Skills Education
Twelve Steps Groups
Traditional Activities
 
This program was developed to encourage and prepare Native Americans for a drug and alcohol free lifestyle.
