Osage

Hi,
My name is Mike Valley and I live in Southern California. I am trying to find out if I am Osage. My Mother said that her mother (my great grandmother) was a half-breed from Fort Scott, Kansas. Her name is Alta Agnes Osborn born 5-11-1882 at Fort Scott, Kansas. We were told that she was Osage. Is there anyway for me to find out if this is true. Need help!
