Native American Undergraduate Student Research Opportunity in Africa

The Wildlife Society (TWS) and the Native Peoples Wildlife Management Working Group (NPWG) of The Wildlife Society recently announced the 2011 Native American Professional Development Grants Program. This year’s grants program is a competitive program available to all Native American students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying natural resources or natural resource management.  If selected, the student will have an all expense paid trip to Namibia, Africa, to participate    in a hands-on international field research experience.  Applications are due April 30, 2011.  Please see the attached flyer if you are interested in this exciting research opportunity!  If you have any questions, contact Jann Rose at (918) 287-5531 or jrose@osagetribe.org.
