KFOR-TV NewsChannel 4's Galen Culver visits the Osage Tribal Museum
May 06, 2013

NewsChannel 4 (Oklahoma City television's NBC affiliate KFOR-TV) reporter, Galen Culver, dropped by the museum on Wednesday, May 1, to film for his weekly segment, entitled, "Is This a Great State or What?"
Mr. Culver has been reporting on positive stories for the state of Oklahoma for 22 years.  Last fall, Osage Tribal Museum senior researcher, Lou Brock, and his wife stopped by the KFOR booth at the State Fair of Oklahoma, and met for the first time.  Lou had the opportunity to tell him about the museum's upcoming 75th anniversary, and invited him and his family to come visit us sometime.  He was more than happy to be there, and asked if Lou would remind him about two months beforehand, which was not a problem at all.
While he was here, he was able to film the buffalo head being placed in its original location in the east room.  That one item has adorned our museum since its opening in 1938.
Of all the years that he has been to Pawhuska, this was his first time to visit the Osage Tribal Museum.
If you missed it, you may watch the segment posted on the "Great State" link here.
(Introduction and closing to the segment is made by NewsChannel 4's long-time anchors Kevin Ogle and Meg Alexander)
