Sex Offender Registry Tribal Code and Laws
March 07, 2011
LAW

The Sex Offender Registry and Notification Act requires the Osage Nation to register and monitor all sex offenders living, working, or going to school on the Osage Reservation.  In order to accomplish this goal the Osage Nation must develop and implement Tribal codes and laws to provide authority to the Osage Nation's Courts and Law Enforcement to accomplish this task.  We are placing a copy of these proposed Tribal Codes and Laws on our website for public review.  If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact the Osage Nation Police Department's SORNA Officer - Officer Brian Herbert at (918)287-5259 or by email at bherbert@osagetribe.org
