The Osage Nation Housing Department is located 3 miles North of Hominy, OK on Hwy 99 in the Osage Industrial Park. Business hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday and closed on major holidays.
The Housing Department is operated solely from the following federal grants:
- NAHASDA- Native American Housing and Self Determination Act (1996)
- ICDBG- Indian Community Developmental Block Grant
- HIP- Home Improvement Program (Administered via Bureau of Indian Affairs)
- CSBG- Community Services Block Grant
- LIHEAP- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program
On occasion the Housing Department will seek Executive/Congressional approval for tribal monies obligated to the home rehabilitation of low-income native american homeowners residing in a flood zone throughout the Osage Reservation. This is only a case-by-case basis.
