The month of October was filled with many fun learning experiences:
During Fire Safety week, we had two important visitors; Fire Chief Steve Pitts from the Hominy Fire Dept. and Smokey the Bear. Each visitor discussed the importance of fire safety to the children.
On October 20th, our Center visited the Pumpkin Patch in Bartlesville. We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch and each child picked their own special pumpkin. We followed up with a delicious picnic lunch at the park.
Trick-or-Treating came early this year. On October 30th, princesses, ghosts and goblins came to school excited to begin their day of Halloween fun. We trick-or-treated at the Hominy Middle School and received treats from the tribal offices at the Osage Nation Industrial Park. Children munched on delicious snacks at their afternoon Halloween party.
We would like to say a “Big Thank-You!” to all of our parent and grandparents that volunteered during these events. Your help is much appreciated.
