First, I would like to introduce you to our staff. Our Teaching Staff includes the Skiatook 1 classroom which is comprised of the teaching team of Dawn Brown and Tori Bennett. Our Skiatook 2 class is the teaching team of Alison Brown and Ressie Bryant. Last but not least, is our Sk 3 teaching team of Brandi Calico and Jessieca Carruthers.

Next, we have our Family Services Staff. This team includes myself, Terri Buffalohead, Family Services Coordinator/ Site Manager and Samantha Harrison, Family Services Education Assistant. Our Food Service Manager/ Cook is Jackie Tulsa-Weeden. However, the most important part of our team is you and your family. 

We will schedule many opportunities this year for you to be an active part of your child’s education, from field trips, class parties, Parent/ Teacher Conferences, to monthly Parent Meetings. You will have many opportunities to be involved in your child’s Head Start experience. We believe that you are your child’s first and most important teacher as they grow throughout life. 

Our first activity is Back to School Night scheduled for Friday, August 13^th at 6:00.   This fun filled activity will be held at the Head Start building. You and your Head Start child will get to meet the staff and the other parents and students. This activity is planned to help transition your child into Head Start and help make their school experience a little easier. We will have refreshments, games, and prizes for you and your child.
