Greetings from Osage Nation Head Start in Pawhuska!    

Our 2010-2011 school year is off to a great start. We have 40 children attending and a long waiting list. The children are making a great transition to school. The first day of class went great because so many parents accompanied their child to school. The second day I had four crying children in my lap and one crying child standing between my knees! That was on Friday, by Monday morning, no one cried, they all kissed Mom good-bye, said “I’ll see you later”, and went to class! Parents, give yourselves a pat on the back, and know that your children are having a great time and enjoying school. Ms Mandy and Ms. Betsy have planned lots of fun activities and they are enjoying getting to know the children in their care. Remember if you have questions or concerns, be sure to call, or feel free to drop in and visit, and make sure you have one of our new ‘business cards’ that list all the phone numbers. Thank you for choosing Osage Nation Head Start.
