September 26, 2012

Osage Casino will be building a new casino, including the addition of a 48-room full-service hotel. The casino and hotel will be designed by Marnell Companies, an architectural firm famous for its work on The Bellagio and Rio casinos in Las Vegas.
"We are thrilled about the new offerings this casino will feature for our guests.” Osage Casino CEO Neil Cornelius said. "Teaming up with Marnell Companies and Osage Manhattan Builders ensures Osage Casino - Ponca City will bring the finest in casino design to Ponca City."
Osage Casino - Ponca City opened in December of 2007, as an enterprise of the Osage Nation. The casino currently encompasses 6.000 square feet and features 220 electronic games. The new casino and hotel is projected to be 89,817 square feet with space for more than 450 electronic games. The new facilities will be built next to where the current casino stands.
In addition to the new electronic games, Osage Casino - Ponca City will offer six table games, a restaurant and bar. The new casino will feature a totally redesigned interior with bright lights and colorful decor. New signage, landscaping, and a stone exterior are also included in the plans.
Osage Casino - Ponca City General Manager Jennifer Swords says the new casino and hotel have the ability to create more local jobs and be an economic boost for Ponca City and the surrounding areas.
"This establishment will be a great addition for the local business community" Swords said. "The hotel will be one of the finest in the area, creating great opportunities for local employee retreats and business functions."

The hotel will feature a multi-purpose event center that can be broken down into three separate rooms. This will be available for businesses, private parties and conferences.

In addition, the hotel will include a fitness center, lounge, outdoor pool, spa and a
convenience store. Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2013.
