Chief Jim Gray has been busy preparing for the current session of Congress.  During July and August, the Directors prepared budgets for 2007 and presented them to John Jech for review.  In the years past, the budgets were prepared and then if there was a shortfall, the director simply went to Council and requested additional funds.  This time the budgets must be prepared to cover an entire year.  With the continuous reduction in federal appropriation, the need is great to supplement services to our people. 

 

Chief has made interim appointments for the boards for O. N. E. (Osage Nation Enterprises), O. B. E. (Osage Business Enterprises), filled vacancies on the Housing and Gaming Boards and appointed an interim Judiciary.
