Mission Statement

The mission of the Osage Nation Election Board is to conduct accurate, secure and accessible elections so that the people of the Osage Nation are provided an opportunity to participate in their government. Major goals of this mission include striving to:

Conduct fair and impartial elections;
Educate the public about the election process;
Increase voter enrollment and participation;
Encourage Osage Citizens to vote;
Uphold the integrity of the electoral process; and
Administer elections in a manner that assures public confidence in the confidentiality, accuracy, efficiency, and fairness of the election process and to enforce Election and Campaign Finance laws.

The next scheduled elections are as follows:

GENERAL ELECTION: Monday, June 4, 2012 for 6 Congressional seats and 7 Constitutional Amendments

SPECIAL ELECTION: Monday, August 13, 2012 for 4 Constitutional Amendments
