The Osage Nation Education Department offers an opportunity for Osage Scholarship students to work as an intern/extern during the summer. The internship/externship program requirements are:
- Osage tribal membership
- Osage Scholarship recipient
- student must be classified as a junior, senior or graduate student
The applications are available at the Osage Education Department and on-line. The sites for internships (in Osage County or close surrounding areas) will be matched with your major and will be located in various sites within Osage County. The sites for the externships (out of county/state) will be the responsibility of the extern; site information will have to be submitted to the Osage Education Department for approval.
There are opportunities to do the summer internship with the Million Dollar Elm Casinos. Please come experience the exciting job aspects of the Million Dollar Elm! Participants will have the opportunity to work in marketing, event planning, human resources, training/development, food/beverage and casino operations. Interns will need to be at least 21 years of age and they will need to obtain a gaming license.
