The Education Department has set the following dates for the Summer Enrichment Camps in July.
***The Dates for the Youth Camp is Tuesday, July 22 - Friday, July 25, 2008.
***The Dates for the Childrens Camp is Tuesday, July 29- Friday, August 1st, 2008.
Children's Regisrtation FormDo you have any plans for July? Would you like to learn and experience new things? If so come to the Enrichment Day camp the Osage Nation Education Department will be hosting in July. There are many focuses for this year’s camps.
The camps will have an Osage History and Culture components as well as hands on learning which will include; Finger Weaving, Ribbonwork, Beadwork, and Osage Art. The camps will also have mini workshops on leadership, tobacco prevention, and college prep along with many others. Each camp will end with an enrichment field trip. The children’s camp will be going to the Oklahoma History Center in Oklahoma City. The youth camp will be going to a ropes challenge course in Tulsa.
The age group for the children’s camp is 5 to 12 yrs. The age group for the youth camp is 13 to 20 yrs. There are only 60 spots for each of the camps, so register early and plan on having an awesome time.
