Osage Nation Higher Education Scholarship
Available to any Osage student attending a college or university.
SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES:
 
Fall - July 1
Spring - December 31

 Lt. William J. Scott Scholarship
This scholarship is through the University of Oklahoma and is available to unmarried Osage males.  To be eligible you have to apply for FAFSA.  Clink the link below for an application.

Workforce Development Training
Training assistance is provided to Native American adults through local vocational and technical training schools.  Assistance for Native Americans living in Osage County who have started a new job and paying the expense for those individuals obtaining a GED.  Eligibility requirements are as follows:  Live in Osage County; meet HHS poverty guidelines; provide copies of CDIB; drivers' license; social security card; verification of residency and income.  Applicants must also apply for FAFSA.  Participants must maintain satisfactory grades and attendance during the training period.  Osage preference.

Osage Nation Tutoring Program
Tutoring services are offered through local school systems by certified teachers and personnel. Schools that participate are the schools that are located within the Osage Nation.
 
Osage Nation Public Schools Support Program (ONPSSP)
The program is provides various educational support to Osage students attending schools with a participating school district by having Osage Nation staff on site. For more information on this program pleas click on the downloads below.
 
 
 Johnson O'Malley Program
This program provides supplemental financial assistance for basic school supplies to any Native American student enrolled in grades K-12 at one of the twelve schools in Osage County. The students must provide a copy of their CDIB or Tribal card - these need to be on file with the Osage Education Department.  The schools that participate include:  Anderson, Barnsdall, Bowring, Hominy, McCord, Osage Hills, Pawhuska, Prue, Shidler, Skiatook, Woodland, and Wynona.
 
Summer Youth Program
The summer youth program is for Native American youth between the ages of 16 to 21 that live in Osage County and meet eligibility requirements. This opportunity allows Native youth to gain work experience during the summer and develop knowledge of work ethic, life skills, money management and future career goals. Applications are taken from May 1 to May 31. Applicants must provide: verification of parents income - must meet income guidelines, verification of residency, CDIB, social security card, and driver's license.
