The Pawhuska JOM Parent Committee issued a hand game challenge to the Hominy JOM Parent Committee. They will compete for bragging rights on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Wakon Iron Hall in Pawhuska. The event starts at 1:30 p.m and supper will be served.

 

This event began last spring when Hominy JOM Parents challenged the Pawhuska JOM Parents to a hand game. It was intended to bring the communities together and teach students about the Osage hand game tradition. Pawhuska JOM won that challenge and offered to host this year's event with the hope of making this an annual tradition between the rival communities. Please come out and support the Pawhuska and Hominy JOM programs.
