The Second Osage Nation Congress will convene into their

First Special Session at 1pm on  Friday, July 09, 2010 in the Congressional Chambers at 813 Grandview. (Campus Road)

 

Within 48 hours after the Congressional Inauguration, Osage Legislators are ready to begin their work, their review and 

current updates concerning  the affairs of the Nation.

 

During this session, the New Congress will set their foundation

for the next year. The Second Congress will officially convene, nominate, select and establish all their leadership positions, set the membership of Congressional Committees to include the Committee Chairs and Vice Chairs for the next 10 months.

 

A Legislative Proclamation was signed on July 07th, 2010, that also included the following:

 

 Update on the Land into Trust Applications and

 Consideration of Appropriation for Osage Nation v.

  Irby (Oklahoma Tax Commission).

 

The Legislative Session is open to the public, tribal members 

and interested parties. .
