Osage Nation to Hold 5K, Fun Run, Amazing Race and Little Amazing Race

WHAT:          The Osage Nation will hold a 5K race, a Fun Run (one mile), an Amazing Race (8.2 miles) and a Little Amazing Race for children.  The events are sponsored by Osage Nation’s Health Division, Communities of Excellence, Prevention, Primary Residential Treatment, Treatment Alternative to Street Crime and Medical/Clinical Services Departments.  Prizes and medals will be given to event/division winners.

                        Area runners


WHEN:          Saturday, May 11

                        5K - 8 a.m. (registration from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.)

                        One-Mile Fun Run - 8:30 a.m. (registration from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.)

Little Amazing Race - 9 a.m. (registration begins at 8:30 a.m.)

·         Ages 5-8 years - 9 a.m.

·         Ages 9-12 years - 10 a.m.

·         Ages 13-16 years - 11 a.m.

Amazing Race - 11 a.m.


WHERE:       Osage Cultural Park

                        Pawhuska, OK 74056

                        *The Park is located on Lynn Avenue between Sixth and Ninth Street in Pawhuska.


VISUALS:     Bouncy House, Dunk Tank, Climbing Wall and Obstacle Course.  Prizes and medals will be given to first, second and third place winner for each age group.
