The Mission Statement of the Osage Nation CHR Program is to serve as Health Care Providers, Instructors, Advocates and Mediators for Native Americans and Health Facilities.  CHR's also have the knowledge and training to facilitate access to care.  As members of their communities they are strategically located to serve as "front line troops," engaging in early case finding, screening, health education, sanitation and maternal and child health.  They work directly with their clients and refer them to other health professionals as needed.  To receive needed medical nursing and dental care.  The CHR's work in a variety of settings including but not limited to clients homes, hospitals and clinics.  The CHR program provides quality care to Native Americans on the Osage Reservation.
