CHIEF SIGNS OSAGE NATION CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT ACT

Osage Nation Congress passed Bill Number ONCA 07-20, which is known as the Osage Nation Child Support Enforcement Act. 
 
      To establish the Osage Nation Child Support Services Department; authorize appropriations, adoption, and enactment of the Osage Nation Child Support Code; declare an emergency; and set an effective date.
 
Osage Nation Congress comprised of twelve members and one ex-officio member with 13 members attending this meeting on the 3rd day of April, 2007 and with all members being in conformity with the provisions therein adopted by a vote of 12 in favor, 0 against, and 0 absent.  The Bill has not been rescinded or amended in any way.  The Bill was then passed over to the Executive Office for the Chief to sign. 
 
Chief Jim Gray signed the bill on Wednesday April 5, 2007, with Child Support Services Staff: Director Rusty Brown, Finance Specialist Greg Kidder, Case Manager Deborah Yates, Caseworker Delana Taylor, Administrative Assistant Dana Daylight, Assistant Principal Chief Johnny Red Eagle, Sponsor: Congresswoman Debra Littleton, and Co-Sponsors: Congresswoman Jerri Jean Branstetter, Speaker Archie Mason , Congressman Raymond Red Corn, Congressman Eddy Red Eagle, Jr. in attendance.
