CHILDCARE

We are excited to report there has been, and will continue to be, growth and new developments at the Wah-Zha-Zhi Early Learning Centers in Barnsdall, Pawhuska, Fairfax, and Skiatook. The playgrounds have new shade structures over the playground equipment. In the past, children and workers alike only wanted to be outside for short periods of time during the summer months. Not only was it hot but there was no shade for any type of relief from the sun.   This created an environment where the equipment could get very hot, as well as the sand and other impact surfaces on the playground. With the addition of the new shade structures, the playgrounds should notice a considerable difference when going outside this summer.

Another change that has taken place recently is the playground equipment at the Wah-Zha-Zhi Early Learning Center in Fairfax, also known as Circle of Friends, has been updated or replaced. The playground looks like a completely new play area. It is fresh and clean and more kid-friendly than ever. The director at Circle of Friends is overjoyed about the changes and anxious for more clear weather for outdoor activity with the children.

At the Wah-Zha-Zhi Early Learning Center of Pawhuska, a.k.a. Kids Kampus, changes continue to develop. There is a substantial amount of construction occurring due to the new facility that is being built for this center. Yes, there will be a brand new facility designed to be a more conducive childcare/early learning environment. The staff is excited and can hardly wait for the building to be completed. We plan to provide updates as the work continues.

At the current time, there are openings at all the Osage Nation Wah-Zha-Zhi Early Learning Centers and we are accepting enrollment. If you are in need of child care please feel free to call and speak to the Directors about enrolling your child/children.
