HA-WE and WELCOME to the Osage Nation Membership Department. Our mission is to assist and answer any and all questions that each individual may have regarding membership. This website will be a helpful and informative tool for you, as an applicant and Osage member, to be up-to-date on the latest membership news.
The Osage Nation Membership Department has had a successful eleven years. We issued the first Osage Nation Membership card on October 9, 2002. As of today, we have issued 17938 cards and have 17091 actively enrolled members. We still continue to grow daily.
Our sole purpose is to allow each and every individual that is eligible for membership, to be enrolled with the Osage Nation. We have gone to great lengths the past eleven years to communicate by correspondence through the mail and by phone; to ensure that all individuals in our system were sent a letter of explanation regarding membership, along with a membership application to complete and return to our office.
We have also done several mail-outs to Osages regarding missing addresses, we have written several articles in the Osage News trying to answer and clarify frequently asked questions.
We have made every possible and necessary change to give our Osage people the most convenient, accurate, and friendly service possible.
We hope that you find this site to be a convenient and easy tool to help you stay current on membership issues, but also a helpful, communicative tool to stay in touch with our office.
